BladeHunter is an independent guide from BinaStella LLC for travellers buying Japanese kitchen knives in Japan.
Overview
The app does not collect personal data.
This policy applies to the BladeHunter app. It does not cover BinaStella's corporate website or other companies' websites and services.
BladeHunter does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data from within the app. It has no account or sign-in feature, no in-app sync service, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
Data & Services
What stays on your device, and what opens outside the app.
- On-device preferences and lists Your language preference, bookmarks, and shopping checklist are stored on your device so they can remain available between launches. They are not uploaded to BinaStella.
- No account or tracking BladeHunter does not require an account and does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. It does not track you across apps or websites.
- Maps and external links BladeHunter uses Apple system services, including MapKit for map display. When you choose a shop website, an official travel source, a phone call, or an email link, your device opens the relevant external service. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
- Support email If you email us, we use the email address and message you provide to answer your request, investigate a reported correction, and meet applicable legal obligations. Your mail provider may also process that message under its own terms.
Your Choices
You control the data stored in the app.
You can remove the app and manage its local data through your device settings. Device backup, transfer, and deletion behaviour are controlled by your device and platform settings.
Because BladeHunter does not collect personal data from within the app, BinaStella cannot access, correct, or delete personal data from the app on your behalf. For a question about an email you sent to support, contact us at the address below.
BladeHunter does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Any age rating shown for the app is determined through the relevant App Store process.
Policy Changes
We will update this page if the app's data practices change.
If BladeHunter adds a feature that changes its data practices, this policy will be updated before that feature is made available. The effective date at the top of this page will also be updated.
